Where Oscar is a better fit

  • You have a VAT number and want the monthly returns for less: 49 EUR a month on Oscar, against 109 EUR billed monthly or 93 EUR billed yearly for Enty Monthly reporting at its smallest tier, all without VAT.
  • You have more than 15 invoices and bills a month: Oscar includes unlimited sales invoices and up to 100 purchase invoices a month at the same price. For the company of the worked example, that is 49 EUR a month against 289 EUR billed monthly or 253 EUR billed yearly.
  • You pay salaries to more than one person: up to 3 employees are in the Oscar price.
  • You want your books to follow your bank: Oscar reads a connected bank account every day while the company is active, and books the lines as they arrive.
  • You want to work on your books from your own tools: Oscar has a remote MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, a public REST API with API keys, and Ask AI in the app. Enty has an AI assistant too; on 11.10.2026 the Enty pages we checked list no public API and no MCP server.
  • You want one price whether or not you have a VAT number.
  • Your company holds investments or real estate: shares in subsidiaries, funds, listed securities, crypto assets, rental income and investment property are booked in the Oscar plan with no extra fee. Enty charges 120 EUR to process an investment report.
  • You join in the middle of the year: the annual report stays in the Oscar price. Enty charges extra for the annual report if you join after February.

Where Enty is a better fit

  • You do not have a company yet. Enty registers one with e-Residency for 60 EUR plus the government fee, or through a notary if you cannot get e-Residency. Oscar works only with a company that is already in the Business Register.[1]
  • You need a legal address and a contact person in Estonia. Every paid Enty plan includes both. Oscar does not offer them.[1]
  • You want contracts in the same tool: Enty lets you create, edit and e-sign contracts, review them with AI, and make hiring documents.[1]
  • You want a set time with an accountant: Monthly reporting includes a 1 hour video call every month, and Annual reporting one a year.[1][2]
  • You have no VAT number, few documents and need an address too: Annual reporting bundles the address, the contact person and the annual report from 51 EUR a month billed yearly.[1]
  • You sell to consumers in other EU countries and need OSS or IOSS returns. Enty lists both, for a fee; Oscar does not file them yet.[1]

Enty is a platform for running an Estonian company: incorporation, a legal address and contact person, contracts, invoicing, and accounting plans with a personal manager. Oscar is an accounting service for Estonian companies: the software books the bank lines and the receipts, and our accountants in Tallinn check the books and file the returns.

The table compares the Oscar plans with Enty Monthly reporting, the Enty plan for a company with a VAT number, at its smallest tier of 15 invoices and bills a month. Enty bills monthly or yearly (15% less), and so does Oscar (499 EUR a year), so the table gives both. The Oscar prices are those of the pricing section of our website. The Enty prices are those of its pages for Estonia on 11.10.2026. Every Enty figure in the table carries the number of its source. Every source is listed with its date at the end of the page.

What each price leaves out

  • Units. Enty counts invoices and bills together, by tier. Oscar counts sales invoices (unlimited) and purchase invoices (up to 100 a month) apart.
  • What comes with the plan. Every Enty accounting plan includes a legal address, a contact person, contracts and invoicing. Oscar's plan has no address and no contact person. If you need them, add their cost to the Oscar price before you compare.
  • Extra fees. Oscar's price list has three extra fees: 0.05 EUR for each purchase invoice above 100 a month, 5 EUR a month for each employee above 3, and 5 EUR a month for each bank account above 4. Enty lists 50 EUR a quarter for OSS reporting, 40 EUR a month for IOSS reporting, from 119 EUR for the reports of a past period, and 120 EUR for an investment report. Oscar does not offer OSS or IOSS returns, an address or a contact person.
  • VAT. Both price lists are without VAT. VAT at 24% is added; a company with a VAT number can usually deduct it.

Is Oscar an alternative to Enty?

For the accounting of a company that is already registered, yes: both keep the books, file the monthly VAT return and prepare the annual report. Enty also sells what comes around the books: the company itself, the address, the contact person and the contracts. Oscar does not.

Which Enty plan matches the Oscar plan?

Monthly reporting for a company with a VAT number, because both file the VAT return every month. For a company with no VAT number, Enty has Annual reporting, a smaller plan with a yearly document limit; the table gives its price too.

Less usual companies

  • Several shareholders. Both take a company with several shareholders. The Oscar price list sets no limit on them; Enty charges 100 EUR or 700 EUR for each extra shareholder at incorporation.
  • Dividends. Oscar books a dividend and declares it in the salary tax declaration (TSD), with its annex 7, in the plan; the Oscar price list has no fee for a dividend. Enty includes 1 payroll declaration a month and charges 30 EUR for each extra payroll or TSD.
  • Real estate. Oscar books rental income and investment property, at cost or at fair value, in the plan, and keeps real estate for your own use in the fixed asset register with depreciation by Estonian rules. On 11.10.2026 the Enty pages we checked name no plan and no price for real estate.
  • A holding company, shares, funds and crypto. Oscar books shares in subsidiaries, funds, listed securities and crypto assets, in the plan, with no extra fee. Enty names Annual reporting as the plan for a holding or dormant company, and charges 120 EUR to process an investment report.
  • Joining during the year. The annual report stays in the Oscar price when you join in the middle of the year. Enty charges extra for the annual report if you join after February; on Annual reporting, 59 EUR for each month missing below 10 paid months.

A worked example

A company with a VAT number, 30 sales invoices and 30 purchase invoices a month, and 1 employee. Prices without VAT, with Enty billed monthly and billed yearly.

Which Enty plan. Monthly reporting, because the company has a VAT number. Enty counts invoices and bills together, so the company has 60 a month. The largest tier, 50 a month for 239 EUR billed monthly or 203 EUR billed yearly, plus 10 extra documents at 5 EUR each, costs less than the 30 tier plus 30 extra documents (169 + 150 = 319 EUR billed monthly, 144 + 150 = 294 EUR billed yearly). The payroll report of 1 employee is in the plan.

Oscar costs 240 EUR a month less than Enty billed monthly, 2,880 EUR a year, and 204 EUR a month less than Enty billed yearly, 2,448 EUR a year. Billed yearly, Oscar costs 499 EUR a year. Enty billed yearly is 2,436 EUR for the tier (203 EUR x 12) plus 600 EUR for the extra documents (10 x 5 EUR x 12). The example is a full year. A company that joins Enty after February pays extra for the annual report, and the Enty page we read gives no figure for Monthly reporting. At Oscar the price stays the same.

How did we check these figures?

We read the Enty pricing page for Estonia, its accounting page and its finances page on 11.10.2026, with the monthly and the yearly billing switch, and each document tier. We kept the facts the pages state. Prices change: check the pages of each provider before you decide. If a figure here is out of date, tell us and we will correct the page.

Conclusion

For a company with a VAT number, Oscar does the usual month for less: 49 EUR a month, against 109 EUR for the smallest tier of Enty Monthly reporting. The Oscar price includes unlimited sales invoices, up to 100 purchase invoices, payroll and the salary tax declaration (TSD) for up to 3 employees, the VAT return and the annual report. Oscar reads a connected bank account every day while the company is active. You can work on your books from your own tools: through the MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, through the REST API, or with Ask AI in the app. Enty has an AI assistant too; on 11.10.2026 the Enty pages we checked list no public API and no MCP server. Investments, a subsidiary and real estate are in the Oscar plan, where Enty charges 120 EUR to process an investment report, and the annual report stays in the Oscar price when you join in the middle of the year.

In the worked example, a company with 60 invoices and bills a month and 1 employee pays 49 EUR a month at Oscar, and at Enty 289 EUR billed monthly or 253 EUR billed yearly: 2,880 EUR or 2,448 EUR a year less at Oscar.

Enty is the better choice for a founder who still has to register the company, needs a legal address and a contact person in Estonia, or wants contracts and a set monthly call with an accountant in the same plan.
