Website terms of use

Last updated: 28.09.2026

These terms apply when you use the public website of Oscar: the home page at /, the waitlist, and, while we publish them, the developer docs at /docs and the file /llms.txt. The website gives general information about the accounting service that we plan to offer. Reading it does not make you our client, and it is not advice. Prices on the website are an invitation to make an offer. A separate client agreement governs the service itself.

Oscar is in pre-launch. We do not offer the accounting service to new clients yet (section 3).

1. Who operates the website

OscarAI OÜ operates the website. We are an Estonian private limited company.

  • Registry code: 17608438
  • Address: Pärnu mnt 105, 11312 Tallinn, Estonia
  • E-mail: [email protected]

"Oscar" is our brand name. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean OscarAI OÜ, and "you" means a person who uses the website.

2. What these terms cover

These terms cover only the public website.

They do not cover the accounting service. The service starts when you sign up or log in, for example at /signup or /login. A separate client agreement and its own privacy notice govern the use of the service. You receive both before onboarding. If the client agreement and these terms disagree, the client agreement wins for the service.

3. Pre-launch and the waitlist

Oscar is in pre-launch. We do not yet offer the accounting service to new clients, and you cannot sign up for it on the website. The website describes the service that we plan to offer. Features that it shows, for example the API, the MCP connector, the command line tool, the integrations with banks, Stripe, Google Drive and Dropbox, and onboarding, can be not available yet, can work in a different way at launch, or can come later. We do not promise a date for the launch or for any feature.

You can join the waitlist with your e-mail address. When you join:

  • we tell you by e-mail when Oscar launches, and we invite you to become a client
  • no contract starts between you and us, and neither you nor we have an obligation to make a contract later
  • you do not get a place in a queue, a price, a discount or any other right
  • you can leave the waitlist at any time, as the privacy policy explains

The privacy policy at /privacy explains how we process your e-mail address.

4. Acceptance

When you use the website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the website.

5. General information, not advice

The website describes how Oscar will work. Our AI does the bookkeeping, and our accountants in Tallinn check it and file it.

The content of the website is general information. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice. It does not consider your own situation. Tax rules change, and a general text cannot replace a review of your facts.

No client relationship starts when you read the website, use the docs, join the waitlist or write to us. A client relationship starts only when we both sign a client agreement.

6. Prices

The website shows prices, for example €49 + VAT per month. Every price on the website excludes value added tax (VAT), which we add at the rate that applies. A price on the website is an invitation to make an offer. It is not a binding offer.

The binding price and the scope of the service are in the client agreement. We can change the prices on the website at any time. A change does not affect a client agreement that we already signed.

7. Intellectual property

We own the website, its texts, its design and its code, or we have a licence to use them. "Oscar" is our brand. You may not use our brand or our logo in a way that suggests that we support or approve you, unless we agree in writing.

You may read, print and save pages of the website for your own use.

The developer docs contain code examples. You may copy, change and use these code examples to build an integration with Oscar. For other use of the content, ask us first.

8. Acceptable use

You must use the website lawfully. You must not:

  • collect content with automated tools at a volume or speed that puts a load on the website
  • test the security of the website, scan it for vulnerabilities or try to get access to systems that are not public, unless we agree in writing
  • disturb the operation of the website, for example with a denial of service attack
  • send malware or harmful code
  • join the waitlist with the e-mail address of another person without that person's permission
  • use the website to break a law or the rights of another person

The file /llms.txt and the Markdown versions of the docs are there for machines to read. You may read them with automated tools, at a reasonable volume.

If you find a security problem, tell us at [email protected]. Do not use the problem and do not publish it before we fix it.

We can block access to the website for a person who breaks these rules.

9. Links to other websites

The website names and can link to services of other companies, for example Claude, ChatGPT, LHV, Swedbank, Wise and Revolut. We do not control these services, and we are not responsible for their content or their availability. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. A name on our website does not mean that the other company supports or approves Oscar.

10. Availability and changes

We try to keep the website available and correct. We do not promise that it is always available, free of errors or complete. We can change, suspend or remove the website or any part of it at any time, without notice.

11. Limitation of liability

We provide the website free of charge and "as it is".

To the extent that Estonian law allows, we are not liable for damage that comes from the use of the website or from trust in its content. This includes indirect damage and lost profit.

This limitation does not apply:

  • to damage that we cause intentionally or through gross negligence
  • to death or personal injury
  • to any liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude

If you are a consumer, these terms do not take away the rights that mandatory law gives you.

12. Governing law and court

Estonian law governs these terms, including the Law of Obligations Act (võlaõigusseadus) and the Information Society Services Act (infoühiskonna teenuse seadus).

We try to solve every dispute by negotiation first. If we cannot agree, Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) decides the dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not take away your right to go to the court of your place of residence, or any other right that mandatory law gives you.

13. Changes to these terms

We can change these terms. We publish the new version on this page and change the date at the top. The new version applies from the date of publication. If you use the website after that date, you accept the new version.

14. Contact

For every question about these terms, write to [email protected].
